- Helps hold wound dressings in place without friction or discomfort.
- Can be worn overnight, ensuring uninterrupted therapeutic support.
Outer Compression Stocking for Increased Pressure
- A Class 3 medical compression stocking (34–46 mmHg when combined with the inner liner) that delivers strong therapeutic pressure during the day.
- Provides firm, graduated compression, actively reducing swelling and improving venous return.
- Features reinforced, durable fabric for long-term wear and ease of use.
Rhomboid Knit Technology – Maximum Therapeutic Effect
The VenoTrain UlcerTec features a unique rhomboid knit structure, which plays a crucial role in optimizing compression therapy for venous ulcers.
Benefits of Rhomboid Knit Compression
- Enhanced Stability and Containment – The structured rhomboid knit pattern provides firm yet flexible support, preventing fluid buildup while ensuring optimal venous return.
- Targeted Compression for Faster Healing – Unlike standard compression materials, rhomboid knit fabric creates micro-massaging effects on the skin, stimulating circulation and improving oxygen delivery to the affected area.
- Better Skin Adaptation and Comfort – The interwoven structure allows for better breathability and moisture-wicking, reducing skin irritation and promoting long-term compliance.
- Improved Durability – Designed to withstand prolonged wear without loss of compression, ensuring consistent therapeutic effectiveness over time.

Care Guidelines
In order to preserve the compressive action of the garments and ensure a lasting and secure grip, attentiveness to care of the stockings is highly recommended.
- Wash the garment daily
- Wash by hand or machine wash at 30 degrees
- Use a suitable and mild detergent to clean the garments
- Air dry the garments and ensure highly limited exposure to sunlight when drying
Ideal Handling and Wear
- Prior to donning, ensure that the skin is free of any ointments, lotions, and oils.
- The VenoTrain Donning Gloves should be used to aid in the donning, as the robust rubber ensures a strong grip and reduces the risk of finger nails digging into the garment, which may cause material damage.
- When putting on the garment, do not over-stretch the material or pull on the top band, as this can cause premature fraying. The material should be pulled with a gentle touch evenly over the limb.
- The VenoTrain Donning Gloves should be additionally used to secure the fit, smoothen out the material, and minimise gathering of the fabric to promote a uniform compression.
