Functional Use
The VenoTrain Impuls compression garment with class 3 compression is suitable for active management of moderate to severe venous indications that are accompanied by observable changes in skin presentation (CEAP* C3-C4):
- Severe Varicose Veins
- Severe Chronic Venous Insufficiency
- Dermatoliposclerosis
- Atrophy Blanche
- Pigmentation
- Stasis Dermatitis
- Deep Vein Thrombosis
- Post-Thrombotic Syndrome
Lymphoedema Management and Support of Chronic Stasis
The VenoTrain Impuls is further recommended for the ongoing management of primary and/or secondary early-stage lymphoedema, as well as venous stasis and insufficiency associated with congenital disorders, including Hypoplasia of the Inferior Vena Cava.
Robust Compression for a Strong Therapeutic Effect
The VenoTrain Impuls with class 3 compression delivers firm and strong medical-grade compression for more intensive support to combat severe cases of chronic venous insufficiency, swelling, and other advanced venous conditions that are accompanied by pronounced changes to skin presentation. Its graduated compression maximises the pressure at the ankle, and reduces the pressure gradually along the leg to produce a longitudinal gradient that enhances blood flow and venous return, making the garment effective for counteracting stasis and pooling, preventing venous collapse, and alleviating thrombosis. With its high compression level (34-46 mmHg), the garment provides intensive therapeutic support, making it particularly effective for post-operative care and lymphoedema management. The stronger graduated compression aids in reducing significant swelling and preventing fluid buildup, which is crucial during recovery after vascular surgery or other procedures. By enhancing venous return and promoting lymphatic drainage, this garment supports healing and minimizes complications such as oedema or fibrosis. Its durable, circular-knit fabric ensures a firm, consistent fit, delivering the targeted pressure necessary for effective management of advanced venous and lymphatic conditions.
Innovative Design to Balance Comfort with Deep Action
The VenoTrain Impuls is crafted with an innovative knit incorporating a premium microfiber blend, ensuring exceptional breathability and optimal climate control for a skin-friendly experience. Its superior wearing comfort is further enhanced by the high working pressure provided by the short-stretch knitted fabric, which delivers powerful therapeutic benefits even with minimal muscle movement. Crafted with durability and usability, the VenoTrain Impuls ensures consistent and effective compression while maintaining a secure and comfortable fit.

Sizing and Fit
The VenoTrain Impuls medical compression garment has been developed under Bauerfeind's V6+ (I – VI) differentiated sizing system, providing an expansive and diverse range of standard sizes to ensure a precise fit. Refer to the sizing guide to find the perfect match.
Care Guidelines
In order to preserve the compressive action of the garments and ensure a lasting and secure grip, attentiveness to care of the stockings is highly recommended.
- Wash the garment daily
- Wash by hand or machine wash at 30 degrees
- Use a suitable and mild detergent to clean the garments
- Air dry the garments and ensure highly limited exposure to sunlight when drying
Ideal Handling and Wear
- Prior to donning, ensure that the skin is free of any ointments, lotions, and oils.
- The VenoTrain Donning Gloves should be used to aid in the donning, as the robust rubber ensures a strong grip and reduces the risk of finger nails digging into the garment, which may cause material damage.
- When putting on the garment, do not over-stretch the material or pull on the top band, as this can cause premature fraying. The material should be pulled with a gentle touch evenly over the limb.
- The VenoTrain Donning Gloves should be additionally used to secure the fit, smoothen out the material, and minimise gathering of the fabric to promote a uniform compression.
*The CEAP classification (Clinical-Etiological-Anatomical-Pathophysiological) is used to categorise chronic venous disorders based on their severity.
