INDICATIONS
- Rupture of the anterior and / or posterior cruciate ligament (ACL / PCL) for non-surgical treatment, pre-operative and delayed post-operative treatment, long-term rehabilitation and in cases of chronic insufficiencies
- Severe and / or complex instability (traumatic, degenerative; e. g. “unhappy triad”)
- Collateral ligament injuries
- Functional instabilities, e. g. lack of neuromuscular control, non-copers
- To restrict the range of motion (e. g. after meniscus refixation or meniscal implantation)
BENEFITS AND MODES OF ACTION
- Stabilisation of the knee joint according to the four-point principle thanks to tension-stable and non-elastic knit sections, joint splints on the sides and Velcro straps
- The three-dimensional adjustment of the orthosis hinges to the individual compromise axis of rotation avoids harmful constraining forces on the knee joint
- Automatically determines the individual compromise axis of rotation
- Correct positioning of the SofTec Genu on the leg using patella cut-outs in the pad
- Stops the patella from drifting thanks to corrective strap integrated in the pad
- Long-lasting secure fit thanks to anatomically contoured Velcro tensioning straps

This brace is magical! My MRI showed grade 3 ACL tear and grade 1 MCL tear, severe bone bruise and partial tear of PML. This brace fits like a glove and princess slipper! I’m keen on conservative management and this brace is giving me stability and safety while I get my range of motion back and strengthen my knee joint, whether I chose to do surgery or not. I can walk again and am more mobile with it on and feel so secure in it on all levels. I’m so happy with this product and would highly recommend it. The customer service is exceptional and the video consultation for the fitting was so helpful. Worth the expense. Our bodies are a sacred intelligent vessel. Take utmost care of it.

Having MS has affected the stability in both my knees especially my right leg. It is often painful and difficult to walk. I have not been able to do Pilates or any of the exercises I love for a while. I recently purchased the SofTech Genu and it is amazing. I can walk with stability in my knee and have been able to wear it at a Pilates class. It has changed how I can live my life . Highly recommend.
