INDICATIONS
- Rupture of the anterior and / or posterior cruciate ligament (ACL / PCL)
- After ligament surgery / ligament reconstruction
- Severe and / or complex instability (traumatic, degenerative; e. g. "unhappy triad”)
- Collateral ligament injuries
- To restrict the knee joint‘s range of motion (e. g. after meniscus refixation or meniscal implantation)
- Patellar fracture (non-surgical and post-operative)
BENEFITS AND MODES OF ACTION
- Six straps in combination with a hard frame offer comprehensive stabilisation following ACL, PCL or complex ligament injuries in accordance with the four-point principle
- Easily positioned at the front and fastened by the patient, reducing stress on the injured knee
- Tool-free limitation and immobilisation of the joint; angle is clearly visible from the outside

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Flexion and extension can be limited independently of one another:
Flexion: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°,90°
Extension: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°
- The whole joint can be immobilised in steps of 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°

This knee brace is light and very strong at preventing the 'at risk' positions (e.g. torsion, over-extension and flexing limitation).
Bauerfeind support was very helpful during the fitting, helping me to fine tune the brace to my knee.

I have EDS and have big problems with my left leg in particular. My work is with young children and therefore I need maximum support. This brace is so lightweight, easy to fit and provides excellent support. Five stars.

The only criticism I have is it rubs the skin away in three place. I have leave the brace off until it heals. Would that be the case if I had purchased the one with a sleeve? If so can the sleeve be fitted separately?
