- Mark S.Verified BuyerI recommend this productUsed For Injury/PainRated 5 out of 5 stars11 months agoSurpassed what I expected
I have made many purchases from baurefeind and even my doctor bought a knee brace for his 92 yo father in law and is impressed. I bought the thumb stabiliser after have used the wrist support for the past 18 moths. Much better support for my arthritic thumb (broken 3 times, and broken scarfoid). You can’t beat it. Please work on a unit for 2 torn rotator cuffs in one. Cheers. Mark

- Christine M.Verified BuyerI recommend this productUsed For Injury/PainRated 4 out of 5 stars1 year agoThumb stabiliser
The thumb stabiliser has worked quite well for my trigger thumb - I got it specially for skiing - it fits under my ski glove and provides good support
The only thing I would say is that the actual thumb guard could be a little higher as it finishes just above the thumb joint allowing some movement that I would prefer to avoid
Otherwise it’s doing the trick thank you
Was this helpful?BPBauerfeind Partners1 year agoDear Christine,
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad the RhizoLoc Thumb Stabiliser is working well for you. It is designed with an individually adaptable aluminium stay to stabilize the thumb saddle and let you customise it as close as possible to your anatomy. Regarding the slight movement of the thumb, please try to contour the whole brace so it is as close as possible to your skin and thumb shape, then place your thumb in the correct position. You'll find that there are two straps/tabs. There's one that wraps around the thumb, which you should ensure is tight (but comfortably so). The second tab points in the opposite direction of your thumb. Pull down on this whilst holding your thumb in the desired position and secure it with the velcro - this should hopefully offer some more stability and support to the thumb. Please feel free to call us on 1300 668 466 for any further support.
Thanks again for your feedback!
