The MalleoTrain Ankle Support is suitable for daily management, as well as chronic, post-operative, and post-traumatic support following mild ankle conditions:

01 Pressure-Reduced Edges for Maximal Wearing Comfort
Reduced pressure at the edges of the support improves the interface with the skin by reducing constriction and impingement to ensure a seamless wear.
02 Innovative Knit for Optimal Activation
Crafted with Bauerfeind's cutting- edge patented Train knit, the MalleoTrain Ankle Support provides targeted relief and stabilisation of the ankle joint through physiological and mechanosensory stimulation. The Train knit provides class 2 (Ccl2) medical- graded compression to stimulate natural physiological healing responses in the ankle to counteract pain and discomfort associated with tendon and ligament disorder, as well as enhance the anti-inflammatory reduction of effusion, oedema, and haematomas. This activation of healing processes ensures adequate fortification of the joint against mild instability, which is coupled with targeted activation of stabilising muscles to improve joint integrity and aid mobility and movement.
03 Functional Padding for Enhanced Therapeutic Effect
In combination with the innovative compressive knit, the MalleoTrain is enhanced with integrated malleoli silicone pads that are positioned adjacent to the medial and lateral malleoli for targeted stimulation and swelling management at common sites of tendon and ligament damage. The anatomical pads exert a robust deep pressure and massage sensation during movement to reduce recurring effusions, redistribute fluid from injured sites, and enhance neuromuscular stabilisation through mechanosensory joint activation.
04 Specialised High-Low Knitted Technique for Improved Contact
The three-dimensional knitting produces reinforces the graduated pattern of compression and increases contact between the knit and skin for secure positioning and comprehensive stimulation of the body’s own stabilisation.
05 Adaptative Design for an Effective Wearing Experience
Constructed from a high-tech and breathable knit, the MalleoTrain effectively adapts to the contours of the ankle to optimise the fit for an effective wearing experience during both low and high intensity performance. An integrated expansion zone at the extensor retinaculum enables the fabric to seamlessly adapt during foot dorsiflexion without pinching of the material on the skin, thereby preventing constriction or impingement during wear.
06 High Breathability of the Material Improves Wearing Experience
The moisture- wicking material of the high-tech and breathable knit ensures optimal thermoregulation to enable long-term wear, reduce skin sensitivity, and prevent sweat accumulation during activity for a comfortable experience.
