I purchased this brace as after 9 months of pain, following rolling my ankle and snapping off the end of my fibula 10 months ago and injuring three ligaments. I found out about the ligaments when I asked for a MRI 4 months later due to constant pain, and another 9 months later.
Being quite active and no longer a spring chicken, the bone break has not healed, and I am in constant discomfort.
I am awaiting a specialist appointment.
I spend most days on a property where the ground is uneven.
Since I started using the brace, my pain level has decreased, and I am more confident walking in the paddocks as it restricts the rolling of my foot. Walking around is comfortable, but just sitting is not as comfortable.
I wish I had looked into and started using this brace after the moon boot. My outcome may have been much different.
