INDICATIONS
- Early functional / non-surgical treatment for injuries to the capsular ligament complex and the bifurcate ligament, e. g. after sprains and ruptured ligaments
- Post-operative protection after suture repairs / ligament reconstruction
- Chronic ligament insufficiency

BENEFITS AND MODES OF ACTION
- Stabilises the foot and protects against sprains
- Allows both plantar flexion and dorsal extension, and prevents prevent talar shift, without restricting the “normal” gait
- Activates the dorsiflexor muscles using a plantar guide, thus supporting the stabilising effect and supination protection offered by the orthosis

I switched out my moonboot for this for my ankle fracture. It gives much more freedom of movement and also more support and stability in the right places.
It's not immediately comfortable but a bit of adjustment and wearing in makes a big difference.
