I switched out my moonboot for this for my ankle fracture. It gives much more freedom of movement and also more support and stability in the right places.
It's not immediately comfortable but a bit of adjustment and wearing in makes a big difference.

Purchased on-line after I noticed excessive movement in all planes using a conventional "moon boot". Strapped the Malleoloc splint on and felt an immediate improvement in support.

Although moon boots are often prescribed for this ankle injury, a quality splint brace that's anatomically contoured and adjustable is a much more comfortable (and in many cases more effective) option.
