01 Innovative Knit for Optimal Activation

Crafted with Bauerfeind's patented flat knit material, The GenuTrain S exerts robust class 2 (Ccl2) medical-graded compression (24 mmHg) to enhance blood and oxygen circulation to the injured site to activate anti-inflammatory healing metabolism and improve physiological recovery responses. Intermittent compressive action further maximises muscular activation to aid joint stabilisation, improve load-bearing capability, and counteract weakness and mobility impairments induced by moderate degenerative conditions.  

02 Adjustable Straps for a Contoured Fit

Integrated velcro straps enable anatomical contouring of the medial and lateral joint stays to maximise the stabilisation effect. The straps are modifiable to promote individualised adjustment of pressure to achieve the perfect level of comfort.

03 Joint Stays for Optimal Structural Support

Integrated medial and lateral joint stays maximise joint stabilisation and maintain biomechanical integrity in the joint to counteract instability associated with ligament damage, moderate tendon degeneration, and osteoarthritic development. Crafted with durable thermoplastic, the joint stays provide robust structural support without any substantial impairments to knee range of motion, enabling controlled flexion and extension whilst restricting undesired coronal torque movements to encourage ideal joint movement and prevent further damage. 

04 Functional Padding for Enhanced Therapeutic Effect

An integrated stabilising silicone pad reinforces structural stabilisation of the patella whilst exerting a deep massage effect during movement to aid in swelling mitigation and pain reduction. The deep pressure effect exerted by the pad further activates key proprioceptive structures to improve mechanosensory activation in the knee to reinforce neuromuscular stabilisation.

05 Adaptative Design for an Effective Wearing Experience

Constructed from a high-tech and breathable knit, the GenuTrain S effectively adapts to the contours of the knee to optimise the fit and mitigate slippage or migration for an effective wearing experience during both low and high intensity performance. The moisture- wicking material ensures optimal thermoregulation to enable long-term wear, reduce skin sensitivity, and prevent sweat accumulation during activity for a comfortable experience. An expansion zone at the popliteal area further enhances the wearing experience by enabling comfortable bending movements without pinching of the material at the back of the knee.

06 Pressure-Reduced Edge for Comfortable Wear

A soft pressure- reduced edge enables the fabric to seamlessly adapt during movement and bending without pinching of the material on the skin, thereby preserving comfort during wear and maintaining a seamless transition between the brace and skin.

ENSURING A PERFECT FIT

The GenuTrain S Hinged Knee Brace is available in multiple sizes to ensure a perfect fit. Refer to the guide below to correctly measure for this product:

1. The knee should be flexed at approximately 30 degrees whilst standing.
2. The starting point for measurement is on the lateral joint at the same level as the midpoint of the patella.
3. The first measurement (1) is extracted 14 cm up the thigh from the starting point.
4. The second measurement (2) is extracted 12 cm down the calf from the starting point.
