INDICATIONS
- Medial or lateral osteoarthritis of the knee
- Instability (mediolateral)
- Unicompartmental cartilage bone lesion
- Condition after cartilage surgery and cartilage growth for necessary unilateral post- operative relief
- Following unilateral meniscal lesions
- Ahlbäck‘s disease (osteonecrosis)
- Osteochondrosis dissecans
- Bone bruising (bone marrow edema of the medial femoral condyle / tibial plateau)

My grandson Sam who is in his twenties had knee surgery and some months later he was able to go back to work as a chef but his knee continued to cause him issues with pain. He had physio done for several months but his knee was still not right with the constant pain and discomfort. Sam saw another Specialist who said he would have to have the knee surgery again.
I contacted Bauerfeind and spoke with Ana and she arranged a phone call with Sam and myself with Walid, this call was very productive after Sam sent his MRI to Walid.
Walid recommended the GenuTrain OA Knee Brace after looking at the MRI.
I spoke with Ana who was very helpful and she posted the brace out to Sam.
After wearing the brace for the first two days the change in Sam was such a relief his pain had subsided quite a bit and the first time in a year he was able to sleep better.
He is walking better and his knee is straighter and he has gone back to physio and everyday he is improving not just physically but also mentally after living in terrible pain for many months.
We cannot say enough how this brace has been life saving for Sam and we are truly grateful to Ana & Walid for their care and knowledge in giving Sam the correct brace and advice he needed and providing him with a back up system where he can contact them for help if needed.

I’ve tried a lot of braces with my severe knee injury. After 3 years of rehabbing , I am left with an ongoing irritated lateral fat pad. I’m really happy with this brace. It offloads my swollen fat pad well, reducing swelling and allowing me to do more.
